Portions of DREAM bill introduced in both houses say that children of ilegal immigrants will be allowed pathway to citizenship if;
Have arrived here at the age of 15 or under;
Have lived in the U.S. for at least 5 years;
Graduate from high school;
Serve in the military or attend college for at least two years; and
Have good moral character.
Now our children (children of legal immigrants)? do they qualify under any of these that are cited above? Infact yes, they do under all of these. If they can introduce bills to consider the children of undocumented / ilegal immigrants, why is there no pathway for citizenship for the children of legal immigrants? Ofcourse they fall under our petitions, but they should be given priority over the others, particularly since their parents pay the most tax/social security etc etc.

You are in same situation as me as long your job duties for the new position are 50% different from old position you should be ok

"You cannot just move your catagory from EB-3 to EB-2 by your compay's promotion. You will have to go
through the whole process again. Also, the experience you gained from the same employer who sponsor your
green card normally cannot be used (counted). "
I guess I have to continue "RamBhajan" in the same EB3 for another infinity years!

No. Both times it was a large company (one has an agreement with a big law firm to handle immigration-related issues). I asked my current employer's attorney about it and she told me not to worry, they never had issues with AC21 portability (employer has 120,000+ employees). She was right regarding my case.

My company ( biggie US firm) filed 140 and 485 on a substituted LC on July 2.
Now my own LC which was pending in BEC (and which has better PD) is approved. Can I file 140 on this? Since substitution is risky, I want to use this 140 for my 485 (over the substituted one) ? How do I do that?
Do I need physical copy of my approved LC to file 140?
Replies will be greatly appreciated

Looking at the number of 485s pending for ROW EB3 with PD of years 2001 and 2002, I do not quite understand why the dates have not moved. We need to ask this question to someone. It does not make any sense.

I recently updated my address thro AR 11 online and also submitted the SRC numbers for the 485 pending for myself and wife. I received a mail (post) stating that USCIS has received my change of address notification and they have udated the new address to my 485 application. I received two seperate letters for me and spouse. But there is no change online on LUD's to those case which are 11/4 when my fingerprinting status was updated. Does this mean USCIS has goofed the address change? I have safely filed the USCIS receipt's with me in case they create issue in future. :o

When I went for H1B stamping my B1 was cancelled and I was told one can not have more than one visa at the same time.

I received below email from NPR's Jennifer Ludden who had covered July 2nd issue for us. She wants to talk to somebody who was affected and she is aware that the issue is now resolved. Last year it went to california center because of the large no. of applications due to july visa bulletin. You should file to Texas service center because you are in NJ (please read the instructions to verify).

I am not here to spread rumor or give false hope...but I came across this article in WSJ. It says that the USCIS may allow some earlier July filer....I don't have an account so I cannot read the whole article.
